How do I save a relationship that is falling apart?

Both people must want to change; start with honest conversation, small daily efforts and outside help if needed.
A struggling relationship can sometimes be repaired, but only if both people are willing to be honest and make changes. One person cannot fix it alone.
Start by naming the real problems, rather than arguing about the latest symptom.
First steps
Set aside calm time to talk, each share what is not working and what you need, and agree on one or two specific changes.
Rebuild connection
Small, consistent acts matter: regular quality time, appreciation, affection and keeping promises.
Get support
A couples counsellor can help break patterns you cannot see. If there is abuse, repair is not the priority; safety is.
