How do I fix low water pressure in my shower?

A blocked showerhead is the most common cause and is easy to clean.
Low shower pressure is often caused by limescale blocking the showerhead. Check whether other taps are also weak to see if the problem is bigger.
If only the shower is affected, start with the showerhead.
Clean the showerhead
Unscrew it and soak it in white vinegar for a few hours, then scrub the nozzles and rinse. Reattach with plumber's tape on the thread.
Check the supply
Make sure the isolation valves are fully open and the hose is not kinked.
Wider problems
If all taps are weak, the issue may be your supply, a faulty pressure valve or a leak. Contact a plumber or your water provider.
