How do I prepare for a job interview?
Research the company, prepare examples of your work, practise out loud and prepare questions to ask.
Good preparation is the best way to feel confident. Interviewers want to know you understand the role, can do the job and would fit in the team.
Start preparing at least a few days ahead.
Research
Read the job description and the company's website. Note what the role needs and how your experience matches.
Prepare examples
Choose three to five stories that show your skills. The STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) keeps answers clear.
Practise
Rehearse out loud with common questions. Plan your route or test your video setup.
Ask questions
Prepare two or three thoughtful questions about the role, team and expectations. Follow up with a thank-you email.
