Structuring for Potential

Use the right format Since you lack a work history, avoid the chronological resume format. Instead, use a skills-based layout. Place a 'Skills' section near the top, followed by 'Education' and 'Projects/Volunteer Experience'. This draws attention to what you can do rather than what you have not yet done. ## Keep it clean Use a simple, modern font like Arial or Calibri. Ensure there is plenty of white space between sections. Use bold headers to make your key information easy for a recruiter to scan in ten seconds. Include your contact details at the very top: name, email, phone number, and a link to your LinkedIn profile if you have one. Keep it strictly to one page. If it runs over, cut the least relevant details.
