Lesson 1
Audit Your Invisible Assets
Catalogue your skills and experiences to find what people will pay for.
Mapping Your Capabilities
Start by listing ten things you do effortlessly that others find difficult. Perhaps you are fast at Excel, skilled at social media captions, or excellent at planning travel itineraries. These are your 'invisible assets'.
Pricing Potential
For each skill, ask: 'Is this a pain point that prevents someone from making money or saving time?' If you can save a business owner three hours a week by setting up their scheduling, that has an immediate financial value.
The Skill Checklist
Avoid broad categories like 'I am good at computers'. Be specific: 'I can set up Shopify stores for local craft sellers'. Specificity attracts clients. Use this list to form your initial service offer. If you struggle to think of anything, ask three friends: 'What is one thing you always ask me for help with?' Their answers will be your foundation.
